Announcing Our Collaborative Horsemanship Winter Series Clinics at Brooks Alberta

Updated: Mar 13

Hey folks, here’s something to ward off the winter blues and keep things fun and engaging with your horse. I’d like to invite you to come join me in Brooks this winter and have some fun getting yourself and your horse handier.

Cowboy Campus University is hosting three Collaborative Horsemanship & Cow-work Clinics at the Silver Sage arena in Brooks Alberta. The morning session begins at 8AM, the afternoon session begins at 12:30. The clinic dates are:

February 24th -25th - sold out

March 16th - 17th - only a few spots left

April 27th - 28th

The clinics will utilize my collaborative horsemanship approach to focus on getting your horse soft, willing and responsive while strengthening your trust and respect between one another. You’ll leave the clinic feeling empowered in your horsemanship, more connected to your horse and confident in the saddle! The tools we’ll be working on will enable your horse to do their jobs better, whatever that may be. That being established, we’ll then move on to cow work (everyone likes to have some fun working cows, right!) and introduce or refresh your horse on cattle work and cutting. This clinic will provide a great introduction for young rope and ranch horses. These clinics are open to all levels and disciplines of horse and rider, I’ll meet each of you individually where you’re at.

I like to keep these groups small so that each horse & rider duo gets the support and coaching they may need so I encourage y’all to claim your spot sooner than later. Those who attend all three weekends will receive a discount on the third clinic. You can email us at keith.cowboycampus@gmail.com to claim your spot, or with any questions you may have. See y’all there!

Please feel free to share!

Pricing

Each weekend will cost between $400-450, depending on the current cattle prices. We’re going to try to get everyone the best price that we can. There will be 5-10 riders per session. We’ll be running a morning group and an afternoon group. You’ll receive a 10% discount on the last clinic for attending all three, OR, a better deal of a 10% discount on all three clinics if you register for all three.

Accommodations

This clinic series does not have a host hotel but is less than a ten-minute drive from the town of Brooks where there are several hotel options. Your horse is able to stay at the arena if you pre-book a pen after paying your deposit.

Reserve Your Spot

To claim your spot you’ll send a $100 non-refundable deposit to keith.cowboycampus@gmail.com with the dates of the clinic you’ve chosen. If you're reserving spaces in 2 clinics you'll send $200 and if you're reserving a spot in each clinic you'll send $300. You'll receive 10% off of the total cost of each clinic if you register for all three.

Bonuses

Included in your clinic participation fee is access to audit the other daily sessions free of charge. Each clinic also includes a month of the Cowboy Campus Club, valued at $65, where you can continue your journey after the clinic and also get additional support from Keith! We've included a link to the club below so that you can see what is all included there.

Cancellations & Reimbursement

Your deposit is non-refundable, but we will reschedule the clinic if the weather reaches -20, as that is typically the cut-off temperature for most arenas. We will schedule other dates if we have to cancel for any reason and your deposit will hold your space for the new clinic. That being said, if the re-scheduled date doesn't work for you, after we’ve had to cancel, then you will absolutely receive your money back. We want you to be happy so if you cannot make it to the clinic, for any reason, after paying your deposit we’ll still provide you with your one-month free voucher to the CCU Club.
